What is Quarterly Earnings Report?

A Quarterly Earnings Report is a report filed every three months by public companies. The document acquaints investors with companies’ financial results for the last quarter.

The earnings reports provide four pieces of information that are very important to investors:

  • Income from continuing operations (company’s regular business activities),
  • Net sales.
