The battle for the presidential seat heats up. Joe Biden is 6 electoral votes away from seizing the 270 electoral votes needed to win. Will he succeed?

As of 11:00 am UTC today, here are the states (with electoral votes in parentheses) and the projected winner according to CNN’s latest updates.

Biden is expected to win over the states of Michigan (16), Colorado (9), Minnesota (10), New Hampshire (4), Virginia (13), and Wisconsin (10).

Trump holds the states of Florida (29), Iowa (6), Ohio (18), and Texas (38).

Meanwhile, the race tightens in Arizona (11), Georgia (16), Nevada (6), North Carolina (15), and Pennsylvania (20).

Biden hoped for an early victory, but Trump defied the polls in key battleground states while holding Texas, Ohio, and Iowa. However, results now draw a narrower path for Trump, leading him to file lawsuits and demand recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania due to transparency issues.

At present, Biden acquired support from 72 million voters against Trump who has 68 million votes.
