NIO announced on 27 September that subsidiaries of Zhejiang Geely Holding had signed definitive agreements to invest in NIO Power, which operates NIO's battery-swapping and charging network. A Geely Holding subsidiary will contribute its commercial-fleet swapping business and cash for a 30% stake. In a related transaction, NIO China will acquire 10% of Geely Holding's Haohan Energy, which will use the investment proceeds to purchase charging assets from NIO.
